Your audio is processed on your device. We use analytics to understand how the tools are used and error reports to fix problems.
Your audio
The file you choose, the analysis and the exported audio are handled in your browser. Musiclet does not upload your recording or the separated tracks to a server. Processing results are held in the page’s memory until you close or reload it.
Browser storage
We cache model files on your device so repeat visits need less downloading. Your browser may remove this cache. You can also clear it through your browser’s site-data settings. Files you download remain wherever you save them.
Analytics and recordings
On musiclet.app, Google Analytics measures visits and actions such as starting a task or preparing a download. Microsoft Clarity records page interactions to help us understand where the interface is confusing.
Clarity uses unmasked page text. A filename or chord label displayed on screen may therefore appear in a session recording. This does not upload the contents of your audio file.
These services can receive browser and device information, page addresses, referral information and online identifiers, and may use cookies or browser storage. Our own analytics events include the tool used, a duration range and processing time; they do not include audio or filenames.
Error reports and hosting
Sentry receives technical error reports. Before sending them, we remove filenames, free-text error messages, URL query strings and request bodies. Cloudflare hosts the site and serves model files; it processes network information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the service.
Your choices
You can clear site data, block cookies or use your browser’s tracking protection. Blocking analytics does not prevent audio processing, though blocking model downloads does. Musiclet does not require an account.
For each provider’s handling and retention of data, see Google, Microsoft, Sentry and Cloudflare.
